Trewirgie Junior School

REMOTE LEARNING

We hope that our school will be able to remain open during this global pandemic. However, there might be times when your child is absent. If your child is ill and it is not Covid related then we would not expect them to be well enough to be doing work from home. There might be, however, occasions when your child is away from school but is well enough to be learn.

We're waiting for the results of a Covid 19 test.

If your family is awaiting results for a test your child may be away for two to three days. During this time we would like them to read daily. We would also like them do a daily piece of writing.

In addition to this there are general websites that they can access and support their learning.

Oak Academy

BBC bitesize

My Maths

Timestables Rockstars

Accelerated reader

We are self isolating

If any child is required to isolate for 14 days because a family member tests positive for Coronavirus, we will send home the work that is going to be completed at school during your child's absence. Miss Hulme or Miss Wild in the office will establish with you whether you would rather receive this work as attachments on an email or as a paper pack.
