Catch up funding

Children across the country have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus. In response to this, the government announced additional  funding to support children to catch up. Our school will receive an allocation that we will use to fund specific activities to support children to catch up for lost learning over the months of the lockdown. We have the flexibility to spend the money in the ways that we believe will support our children, based on evidence from the Education Endowment Foundation and our own experiences of what works best in our context. This will include providing high quality additional tutoring in each year group that will be delivered by experienced teachers, as well as other forms of academic support to fill any gaps in learning that may exist. Our detailed plan for this can be see by clicking here.
